An Electric Field Survey Report of Hunting Clothing Treated with Wraith
Many hunters believe that game animals can sense the E-Fields a human creates. Because of this belief, a 3rd-party environmental testing company was retained by Hunt Lab Technologies LLC to conduct an electric field (E-Field) survey of our Wraith 4-Way Sense Eliminator. The purpose of the survey was to test and measure the shielding capability of the Wraith product. Note: electric fields can generally travel 6–8 feet from the source.
Method
A WaveControl SMP2 meter was used to measure AC electric fields (E-Field). The unit of measurement for electric fields is Volt per meter (V/m). The equipment was calibrated prior to the survey according to the manufacturer’s recommendations. Measurements for E-Fields were conducted at 1 ft., 3 ft., 6 ft. & 9 ft. increments away from a signal generator operating in the 60 Hz frequency range. Measurements were conducted with and without the Wraith product applied to test the shielding capability for E-Fields.
Baseline measurements were first conducted with the signal generator only (no shielding or Wraith applied). Additional measurements were conducted by covering the signal generator with a cardboard box, with and without Wraith applied. Lastly, measurements were conducted by covering the signal generator with a cotton T-shirt as well as hunting jackets, with and without Wraith applied.

Summary
- The Wraith product appears to shield electric fields (E-Fields) based on the measurement results obtained during the survey.
- The electric field levels reduced across all measurement points after Wraith was applied.
- The use of a water-based spray such as Wraith to mitigate electric fields is not common. Electric field shielding materials typically consist of metal conduits and specialized liquid paint coatings, wire meshes, and foils.
